From Slums to Success: A Chess Partnership for Change
For the Future Ghana partnered with Chess in Slums, a Nigerian-based organization as its first Global Ambassador on 9th June 2022. This collaboration is one of the numerous initiatives included in the Student Training and Education Project, which gives FTF Ghana beneficiaries a comprehensive approach to education. In addition to being a fun activity, playing chess gives our beneficiaries the chance to develop their analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as relate with children from other socioeconomic backgrounds.
At FTF we believe that no child’s socioeconomic background should be a barrier to their greatness. Together with Chess In Slums, we will secure a better tomorrow for unprivileged children one chess board at a time.
