History Of FTF Organization
2016-2017
In 2016, FTF began its charity journey with a donation Ghana as For The Future Ghana in collaboration with I Was Here. Shortly after, FTF solidified its presence by supporting children at Jay Nii Orphanage in Jamestown, not only with essentials but also by showing them love and care.
In 2017, recognizing hygiene challenges in Jamestown, FTF organized an outreach to educate children on personal hygiene while providing food and toiletries. The organization also renovated Mamprobi South 4 Basic School, donating learning materials and furniture under the Caridad project. To end the year, FTF hosted Felirati, a Christmas celebration bringing joy to underprivileged children in Chorkor.
2018-2019
In 2018, For The Future Ghana (FTF) expanded its impact by opening a Takoradi branch, which launched its first outreach at Mampong M/A Basic School, educating students on hygiene, drug abuse, and peer pressure while donating essential supplies. In Accra, FTF visited the National Orthopaedic Centre, offering support and encouragement to individuals with disabilities, reinforcing that their abilities define them, not their limitations.
In 2019, FTF turned its attention to Kayayos (female head porters) through Donaport, providing much-needed aid and educating them on hygiene and the importance of free education, empowering them to seek better opportunities.
2020+
With the outbreak of Covid-19 and the general lack of information and understanding of the virus, For the Future Ghana collaborated with Flood-gates Foundation to distribute Covid-19 relief items to underprivileged families in Mamobi on April 9, 2020. This distribution was sponsored by Uniliver Ghana and the General Public.
